Deven Knapp is from Overland Park, Kansas. She is a documentary photographer who focuses on a feeling of nostalgia and the idea of the overlooked. She photographs things that pique her interest, which are often ones others are accustomed to seeing and pass by without a second glance. Because of this, she is able to see beauty in everyday objects. Deven graduated with highest distinction from the University of Kansas' Design BFA program, majoring in Photo Media with a minor in History of Art.
